Introduction

Back to a year later, it was a big story if you want to create a 3D game from flash. It was possible, but the performance of flash player in that time wasn’t support calculating the complex things like this.
At the present day, flash player 9’s performance is exceeded, it’s performance can supports complex systems of the real 3D enginge such as Papervision3d, away3d and Sandy3d. So, time to play with 3D in flash has come.

Story

Since the last 2 years, I and katopz have been using our 3D class to work with a little game.
The 3D class, I’ve mention, has only 4 files which work together: RayCasting3D.as, Object3D.as, Stage3D.as and Camera3D.as, then the games we’ve created in that time haven’t include the real 3D model.
Let’s thinking to the old game like “Mario Cart” or “F1″, these games have only moveable ground, floating objects and panoramic background, they don’t have any 3D model included. The best way in that time was render 3D object as images sequences then import them to the game.
